In book 3 of the Four Of Hearts Ranch Romance Series, We find that Aunt Roxie's Great Niece, Cassidy comes home to Wishing Springs, Texas, after her divorce from Jack. What she comes home too, is a house and barn full of clutter, a farm full of over ran fields and a garden full of weeds. She knows this will take everything she has to rebuild and clean up the place. Cassidy is okay with that. After the passing of Aunt Roxie and her divorce, she needs something to keep her mind occupied and she has great expectations for the farm. Cassidy has no plans to fall in love. She has no plans to make herself a part of the community and no plans to get involved in anything but raising a Strawberry Farm.

God has many other plans for her.

While the Four of Heart Ranch is next door and Jarrod Monahan's is busy running the ranch and taking care of pops; his two brothers are busy with their lives. When Jarrod realizes that Cassidy has moved in next door. He remembers how much he loved her before he left town.

Cassidy remembers how much he hurt her before he left town. Jarrod promised he would come back when he leaves for college but never does. He gets hung up in a snow storm and that was before the days of cell phones and emails. So Cassidy marries the first man who says he loves her. That man, is everything wrong for her.

After God places them in each other's way and the family helps them find each other again, they end up hurting each other again, only to realize that they are each other's one true love

This book is NOT a stand alone book. You could read it alone, but it would make a LOT more sense if you read it after reading the other two. I dislike that in the book As well as the fact that it is predictable. It is the typical, boy meets girl, boy loves girl, boy loses girl, blah, blah. You get the picture. However, for me, there are just days you need to lose yourself in those kinds of books just for the entertainment value alone. Escapism is a real reason to read any book! As long as you come back :)

As all of Clopton's books, I really liked this book. While it was predictable, it was good!

This was my favorite novel in the Four of Hearts Ranch series. I thought the characters and the plot were well developed, and I liked the chemistry between the lead characters. The author is a good writer whose sentences flow nicely.
I would recommend this book to anyone who's looking for the right mate...... and wants some twists and turns to keep you wondering what will happen next.
Story shows that it doesn't matter how your life started, you can have a great ending. She had a child's crush on a boy. She made some hasty decisions that took her years to make her way back home. Dreams can come true. I enjoyed the characters and the story.
I loved all three of the 4 of Hearts Ranch books & all 3 brothers & their wife. Could not put it down before I read all three I like every book that Debra Clopton has written. I may have read all of them.
Kissed by a Cowboy is the third book of the Four of Hearts Ranch series. This story really spoke to my heart. I felt an instant connection to Cassidy. I knew exactly what she had gone through and knew those reservations and feelings on finding love again.
I, also, found myself laughing a bit while reading this.
What a fun, sweet, clean and romantic story. I enjoyed catching up with past characters from the other book of the series.

Just finished this story. It was a great conclusion to the A Four of Hearts series. Have read several of Debra Clopton books before and am always pleased with the way she tells a story. It makes you feel a part of the community and you are always cheering for the couple involved. I have read all three books in the group and there is a little bit of a romance going on in the background characters as well so you feel that you are getting a two for one deal. That part of the story is resolved in this book as well. Sit back and enjoy it's worth your time.

This is the story of Jarrod Monahan, the oldest brother and Cassidy Starr. It was great going back and finding out what’s happening in the other brother’s lives and finding out how grandpa is doing. Jarrod and Cassidy have a not so good history. Cassidy is trying to be a new independent woman but every time she turns around Jarrod is being his typical self, trying to be helpful and in control of everything. Debra Clopton, as always, does a great job weaving romance, comedy and suspense into her stories. I read this book in one sitting. If you haven’t read Debra Clopton before you don’t know what you are missing. I was sad when the Mule Hollow series wrapped up, but this is a good series too.
